Penut Butter Stuffed French Toast

This recipe is so good! Breakfast that is healthy yet still taste like dessert is my favorite!! Plus who docent love peanut butter.

Peanut Butter Stuffed French Toast
1/2 c natural peanut butter or almond butter
8 slices of whole wheat bread
1/2 c almond milk
4 egg whites
a pinch of salt
2/3 c of your favorite natural jam or jelly, I use strawberry
1/2 c strawberries (optional)

Spread the PB and jelly and the strawberries on on each side of the bread halves. Put together like sandwich.

In a bowl whisk the egg whites, milk, and salt together. Soak each sandwich in the mixture for 5 seconds or until covered.

In a medium skillet cover with 1 tbs olive oil or nonstick spray and place each sandwich in the pan. Cook until each side is golden brown, about 2 mins each. Slice the sandwich in half and drizzle with jam,  honey, maple syrup or natural chocolate syrup!
