Friends & Fashion

Key Necklace- Marc Jacobs
Blazer - Thrifted
Leopard print T - Forever21
Dress Pants - Citizens of Humnaity
Bag- Aldo
Its officially October!!! That means fall fashion is in full swing!!! One of my favorite looks for fall is a simple printed T paired with a bold blazer and a simple black pant. I can wear this look to work and then easily go out after for drinks or dinner and not have to change at all! Easy and trendy!

Complete look - Forever21
Another great looks is a simple long sleeve dress. My friend Lea wears this trend well! This dress is both form fitting and the stripes are really in this season. Pair the form fitting dress with a fedora and some eye catching accessories and you've got yourself one hot look!

Vest - Amavo

Skirt - Express

Skirt - Anthropologie

These last three looks are perfect for your on the go busy life style. There all simple, stylish and comfortable. Fur is back in for fall this year. What I love about a good fur vest is that you can literally pair it with anything and it will transform your look in to an eye catching style. WE don't want Peta after us so make sure you wear a fake fur animal lovers. Next we have one of my favorite trends, the sequin mini! These skirts are adorable. Make sure the top is simple and chic and pair it with unique accessories for a flawless look for your lunch date or date night out. Lastly I can't express enough that women all need a good maxi skirt! You can literally get away with wearing almost any kind of top with them,  my friend Alyssa chose to go simple and wore a fringed crop top with a simple necklace.

Looking good means feeling good inside and out. The best-kept red carpet style
secret is that if you must feel comfortable and excited about what you are wearing!
Allow your confidence to shine. Believe it or not, even major celebrities sometimes
need a confidence boost. They know that confidence is all about wearing things that
flatter your body and make you feel great! Fashion allows you to showcase your
style and express yourself through your clothing and accessories. Whether you
spent 2 hours or 10 minutes getting ready, you should always look effortless as if
you just "threw something together.

One of my favorite looks for fall is the must-have maxi skirt. There are so many
styles, textures, and patterns out there, but the maxi really is a universally flattering
style that works on all body types and can be dressed up or down in a matter of
minutes! A huge myth is that you have to be tall to pull off this style...so not true! If
you are petite, wear your maxi skirt with fall heel booties or wedge boot.

A pleated maxi skirt is all you need—add a super thin cardigan or wrap to throw over
a denim shirt and you will be ready for any fall event. Remember when picking your
skirt to think about what will be most versatile in your closet. If you tend to wear a lot
of black and neutrals, scout out a maxi skirt in pale colors for fall and pair with a
cream cardigan. If you are bold and want to get noticed, find a maxi skirt in a bright
floral print and pair with a thin solid oversized knit sweater for the perfect
combination.

Don't be scared of accessorizing. Wearing the perfect pair of shoes and the right
accessories are the key components to a head to toe styled look! Pick either a
statement necklace OR chunky earrings or hoops to accent your look. Bangle
bracelets go with both, just make sure to keep all your metals in the same family. If
you really aren't into jewelry, layer a lightweight scarf loosely tied around your neck.
If your skirt is a pattern, choose a solid scarf in a complimentary color, and if your
skirt is solid have fun with a patterned scarf. The best thing about accessorizing is
that you are sure to get compliments- which is why we dress up anyways, right?

So go get your fall style on- find a maxi skirt, booties and accessories to step out in
this fall exuding confidence and being excited for your new look! You will turn heads
and become the stunning fall fashionista that you are!

Gorgeous in Oxblood

The color must have for fall? OXBLOOD! Literally its the color of blood. Call it burgundy but why when oxblood is just so fitting and sounds fancy. This color is gorgeous! Layer it with other deep hues such as emerald green or dark browns or find oxblood skinnies (on my list!). One things for sure, if your into the vampire craze, your sure to fit in this season.

Peter Pan Makes a Fashion Statement

Who loved watching the movie Peter Pan!? I know it was one of my classic favorites growing up! Fall fashion is up and going and you'll never guess the "Big" it trend! Why it is nothing more fancy than what they call the Peter Pan Collar, the look was inspired by the costume actress Maude Adams wore in the movie Peter Pan!! Yes you buy a color and pair it with sweaters, tailored shirts or even add it to a dress ( they come attached too of course)! Theres just one question? Did Peter Pan hope he'd or in this case "she" some day be an inspiration for fall fashion?!
